From The Mask and Mirror. David likes this song a lot. Also, when I was at a wedding resort a while back by the piano, a woman asked me if I could play any Loreena McKennitt. After I played The Mystic's Dream, she was very enthusiastic and requested The Bonny Swans and Penelope's Song, which were her favorites. I was glad I knew them both. The Bonny Swans is a tale of a woman of royalty shoved into a river by her jealous sister, for the sake of a man. Her corpse floats down the river and is made into a harp by a miller. The harp has a voice of its own and plays autonomously. This catches the attention of the royal family and the miller is asked to bring this magical harp to the throne room. There, in front of all, the harp accosts her original killer, referring to her as "my false sister Anne."
